It is still anyone's tournament,  I do need Eau de source and Sern and Co to play before Thursday if at all possible.

R-6G1 (Finals of Lower Bracket), is the Semi Final and best of 5 (bo5)
R-7G1 (lower bracket winner, vs upper bracket winner) is the Final and best of 5 (bo5)
for R-7G1 because this is a double elimination tournament, the winner of lower bracket needs to win 2 bo5s, while the winner of the upper bracket only needs to win 1 bo5

First off

I need Zerglots with Charge and Super Happy Awsome to get their game done by absolutely no later then 7pm tomorrow.

Also it would help speed things up if Chicago and Support Wikileaks, and Eau De source vs Sern could play.

We need to make some progress in the lower brackets, so if you are one of the following teams please be ready to start playing by 7:30pm tomorrow:

There is an error in the Lower Bracket where support wikileaks and super awesome fun team got advanced. This was a coding error and will be fixed later.

I have also enabled Fragbuxs for the remainder of the Tournament, With Fragbux you can "bet" on the outcome of matches. I have given all the teams participating 200 Fragbux. To use Fragbux click on a "game" like: http://www.fragapalooza.com/tournament/showgame/1636 and scroll to the bottom. Odds are determined by a ratio of bets placed on that team.

Betting is cut off 45mins before a match is scheduled.

Week 3

I want to be really clear, if you cant play on Thursday you need to take the initiative and reschedule, and keep me in the loop. This week if there are any teams that do not do this we will be handing out forfeits. on that note there are a few teams that need to get matches done before Thursday. Chicago VS KC Fellaz, Zerglots with Charge VS High Velocity and RAWR vs LazyNagi. If you have made arrangements to play just drop me a line and let me know. This week there will be 2-3 rounds being played and its important that teams are available to play. Once again if you can't make it let me know asap!

To help speed things up if you can't play this Thursday, try and play 1 match either tonight or tomorrow, this will help us keep on track and inconvenience less teams.

Alright, all the brackets are now posted, tonight we have 3 rounds to complete (the first and second round of the upper bracket, and the first round of the lower bracket) You can see the brackets here: http://www.fragapalooza.com/tournament/bracket/41

Some teams you may notice will have byes, also any team that didn't play a single qualifier has been disqualified. All times are in MST and start at 7:30pm please try and be on time. All matches are best of 3. Also if you finish your first match, and your opponent is ready for the round 2 go ahead and play you don't need to wait for the time posted.

Also to submit a score in the bracket view click on the (R#G#) in between the 2 team names there will be a submit score button. winner reports the score and uploads replay. Again its best of 3 so possible scores are 2-1 or 2-0. good luck have fun!

Thanks to everyone who has signed up, we have a few days left before we get started this Thursday! I will have the qualifcation brackets all filled out by Thursday morning. A quick reminder, please fill up your team, make sure your identifer(or Character Name.Character Code) is put in. Also there are still some teams with only one player, please get your teammate to join your team or send me an email letting me know whats going on. --Commo

Map Selection Process: Qualification each round you play a different map, starting at the top of the list and working your way down,

Remainder of the Tournament: Each player throws out 2 maps(1 at a time), leaving 1 map left, after the first game the loser picks the map to go through: IE

• Team 1: Throws out Arid Wastes
• Team 2: Throws out War Zone
• Team 1: Throws out High Orbit
• Team 2: Throws out Tarsonis Assualt
• Game 1: Map Monlyth Ridge (Player 1 wins, player 2 picks Arid Wastes)
• Game 2: Map Arid Wastes (Player 2 wins, player 1 picks War Zone)
• Game 3: Map: War Zone (Player 1 wins, player 1 submits score via website)

We will be dealying teh tournament by one week as we give the oppertunity for some more teams to sign up, if no more teams sign up will will drop the qualifcation part and jump right into double elimination. Keep checking this page for updates, or follow me on twitter at fpcommo

So real quick I wanted to take a moment and explain the basic plan for this tournament.

This will be a 5 week tournament, and we will accept the first 36 teams that sign up. Why 36? because we will have 6 round robin groups, of 6 teams each. After the round robin the bottom 4 teams will be elminated and 32 teams will move on to the bracket stage. There will be 1 round of single elimination then we will go into double elim withe the finals be on Febuary 3rd.
The round robin will be a best of 1 (each player will pay 5 games that night), the bracket portion will be best of 3, with the finals of the winner bracket and the final being best of 5

The round robin portion will take place on Thursday January 6th at 8pm. The Bracket games will start the following thursday also at 8pm, we will be doing 2 rounds each week, so players will play between 2-6 games a night. If for some reason you are unable to play on this night, you will have until the next wensday to play your games, but the responsiblity will be on the team that cannont make it. Games which are not played by Wed at 10:00pm will be considerd forfiet.

Users will be required to upload replays, it is built into the site, also you will be required to submit your score, our policy is that the winner submits score. Good luck eveybody, detailed rules will be posted in the near future, but this should answer most questions.

Still working on a few details then we will open signups, this should all be done by Monday!
