http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX28859 I recently bought this unit, and I am trying to install it onto this board http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3/M4A79T_Deluxe/.

But I cant get it to fit. The spring loaded screws dont seem to have enough depth to reach the backplate and I am worried im applying to much pressure to the CPU. Is there something im missing? I have spent alot of time on google trying to find an answer to my problem, but I keep coming up empty. I have a support ticket into thermalright but they are taking forever to get back to me. Is there a part the kit didnt include that i need to install this?

A bit late but I'd love to help you if I knew anything about the newer AMD stuff. It's rated to fit that processor type? did you have any luck with this?

Careful with that cooler, read a bunch of reviews stating that the retention system can apply so much pressure to the motherboard that it will literally snap the motherboard.
