Well there's 104 people paid so far so it's filling up fast. Though I can see why you would want to keep the giveaways until the actual event. Rather than giving them out before it even happens. So however you guys decide to do it ^_^

I've only owned some of the older model ATi cards so I don't know all that much about them. But right now I own an NVidea GForce 3 Ti-200 and it does me quite well. Except for Battlefield 1942, I surpase all the of requirments but for some reason I get graphics lag. After doing the research it turned out that something is wrong with my card...
In the near future I want to get an ATi Radeon 9700 Pro, the 9800 would definatly be to pricey for me.

I have a GeForce 3 ti200, and it's doing me just fine right now. I don't trust ATi that much, and I prefer nVidia just because.
Your choice I suppose

I wanted one of the Grforce FX's when they were first comming out, but after they started being tested and the bad rep they were getting (not to mention they never show'ed it face in the retail world) I just said screw it, and put the money towards bills I couldn't wait forever.

my radeon is good for bf1942, it NEVER drops below 40 fps, in medium detail (1024x32 medium everything).
in counter strike it's not so good, it's usually at 100fps, but it'll make drops to 40 fps when there are lots of baddies runnign around

I shouldn't have said waisted. I just blew $216 for a Lian-Li case. Do I need it? No! Do I want it? Yes!
I just hope the ATX form factor stays around long enough that i can get a few years of use out of it.
Ah hell... I'll probably just get a 9800 pro. mwhahaha sick power!

If I would have wait 1 month I'd have saved $180 on the CPU and RAM combined! I'm a fool!

I waited a month to price out my complete system and I'm saving just under $250! I think I'd rather wait thank you.

Hehe, I know what you mean. What's why I'm not getting into anything new for the next few days. Finals are next week and I still have two projects to hand in this thursday. What are you taking at U of A??
