Calling all volunteers! I will be sending this out in an email too, but here is the basic scoop for this year.

As we are a bit smaller than previous years, I am doing away with having dedicated volunteers for each area. Instead I am going to try and use everyone in every area as I need. For example, you may work a security shift one day, and a registration shift the next. However, what I DO need, is as many people as possible on Wednesday morning to help with setup. Most of you have volunteered before so you know the drill.

I also need people to help load and unload the truck Tuesday night from the storage unit. If we get 10 people it should take us next to no time at all to transfer everything to Leduc for setup on Wednesday morning. We will go for wings afterwards and have a bit of a volunteer meeting at the same time.

Wednesday morning I will hold a brief volunteer meeting for those who were not able to attend the one Tuesday night. Then setup will begin.

I need 3 things from all volunteers -
1) are you able to help Tuesday?
2) are you able to help Wednesday? Even if you can't help all day, please let me know if you can come for part of the day. The more people we get, the faster setup will go.
3) are there any times when you are UNABLE to volunteer during the weekend?

With this information, on Wednesday I will work with the other staff to ensure coverage of all required shifts throughout the weekend.

Where Tuesday?

OK...here is the plan. For those of you who can help on Tuesday, we need to meet at the Budget Storage located at 8112 Roper Road NW. http://goo.gl/maps/J1iEk We will meet there at 5:30 Tuesday evening. From there we will go out to Leduc and unload the truck and then head to O2's for some beers and wings.

Wednesday morning, I need all available volunteers to meet in Leduc at 9am ready to work. We will spend the day setting up and it will take as long as it takes until the venue is ready for Thursday morning. If you are unable to help all day, please consider stopping by when you can and lending a hand. Don't worry...there will be plenty for everyone to do. We will have a short volunteer meeting in the morning to make sure everyone is on the same page.
